I didn't like mint – from what I could tell, you can't change transaction info (as in, assigning a transaction to a different category than what it defaulted to). I wouldve like to do that on the go.

You don't have USAA, I'm sure, but their app rocks. Deposit a check via the iPhone camera – how does it get better?!

Okay that weather app sounds worth the money. I'll have to look into it. I use the wordpress app sometimes when I'm too lazy to get on the computer - actually yesterdays blog post was done completely from the iPhone.

I love Shazam, never had any problems with it. I love using it when I want to remember a song on the radio but I'm driving so I can't write it down. Tagging the song is so much easier.

I feel silly - I never really knew many people with an iPhone, and at my last job no one had one. So anytime I see someone with an iPhone, I kind of have to smile, we're all part of some club it feels. Last night I was out with a bunch of people who had blackberries and all I could think was how much better I love the iPhone and all the apps!

I had Mint installed for a while (I still use the website) but the app
seemed buggy with regard to refresh.

I run the Chase iPhone app. The latest update (a few days ago) is a
vast improvement. Wish ING Direct had an app!

Camerabag. It's like Lightroom for your iPhone, in the sense that you can apply certain presets to your pictures to make them look really quality. You can make them look like Holga pictures, like 1960's b/w pics, like polaroids, there's a ton of different presets. I use it constantly to give my iPhone pics the coolness of my non-iPhone pics. It's a really neat program in the arsenal.

One of the single coolest apps in the store is Bloom, an ambient music generator designed by Brian Eno. Not only does it play a bunch of ultra-soothing music, it's fun to create new music on the fly. When I'm with my nieces and nephews and they mess with my phone they're constantly playing with Bloom instead of the actual games on there.

I also like Sportacular for covering all my sports scores and results, OpenTable for making restaurant reservations, and Epicurious for recipe search from a good source that knows about food.
