So I am going to be at work until AT LEAST 11 pm tonight. We’ve got some code going live, and I need to stick around to make sure nothing goes bad.
The good news is, they bought us Portillo’s for dinner.

We have a version of that excuse in my industry too. It’s called “It’s copying to the server.”
Which is actually what I’m doing right now.
